
Based in Dallas, Texas, Andrew Hancock is constantly on the road from coast to coast and around the world creating engaging content for a select roster of clients while pursuing personal projects with any available moment in between.

whether you are a client or subject. In working with Andrew, clients and crew quickly realize that team success is valued before individual accolades. Over the years, Andrew has won a large array of awards every step of his career personally and for his clients. Most recently he won Gold for best basketball photograph from the 2023 World Sports Photography Awards as well as a Special Merit award for a horse racing photograph that was recognized as one of the 10 best sports photos overall in the contest made by an independent photographer that year.
With a vision that transcends genres, Hancock is among an extremely small group of photographers to have ever photographed covers of both Sports Illustrated and TIME magazine.
His work has also been selected as being among the best published sports photos of the decade for 2010-2019 by both ESPN and Sports Illustrated.
Committed to the storytelling process across all mediums, he holds a degree in journalism from Texas A&M University and is an alum of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop. Aside from his photography being published in most every major market publication in the United States, he has also earned bylines for crafting stories to accompany his photography in both the New York Times and ESPN.
Andrew is also recognized by Nikon as a Nikon Ambassador - United States and as a SanDisk Professional PRO-TEAM member.
